As our service and repair division continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled Repair Technician to join our team.
Job Summary

The Repair Technician at Ireland Contracting is responsible for completing service, warranty, and repair work related to roofing, siding, and gutter systems. This role also includes meeting with homeowners, creating repair estimates using the company CRM (Acculynx), and documenting work with detailed notes and photos. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in problem-solving while representing the company professionally.
 
Key Responsibilities

•       Perform repairs and service work on:
–      Asphalt shingle roofing systems
–      Vinyl, fiber cement, and composite siding
–      Seamless gutters and downspouts
•       Diagnose leaks, storm damage, installation issues, and general wear-and-tear.
•       Complete warranty repairs, callbacks, and small repair projects efficiently and to company standards.
•       Meet with homeowners to review repair needs and explain recommended solutions.
•       Create and present repair estimates using Ireland Contracting’s CRM (Acculynx).
•       Upload job notes, before-and-after photos, and documentation into the CRM.
•       Communicate clearly with management and office staff regarding job status and material needs.
•       Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and company quality standards.
•       Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite.
•       Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications

•       2–3 years of experience in exterior remodeling, roofing, siding, or gutter repair.
•       Strong knowledge of roofing, siding, and gutter repair methods.
•       Ability to troubleshoot and work independently.
•       Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
•       Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
•       Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
•       Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
•       Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for CRM use.
•       Strong customer communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications

•       Warranty and service repair experience.
•       Experience creating or presenting repair estimates.
•       Familiarity with CRM systems.
