Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team in San Antonio, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated professionals to provide high-quality care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Shift Details
  • Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
  • Assignment Length: 13 or 26 weeks
  • Workdays: Rotating weekends required
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer care for critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
  • Conduct assessments, prepare care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient care.
  • Document all aspects of patient care accurately and promptly using Meditech.
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including attendance and punctuality requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted).
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of ICU experience.
  • Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
  • NIH Stroke Certification.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in MICU and MSICU.
  • Exposure to IABP and CRRT.
  • Proficiency in Meditech documentation.
Unit Specifics
  • Procedures performed on unit: Chest tubes, intubations, central lines, and dressing changes.
  • Documentation system: Meditech.
  • Badging Policy: Badging in and out for shifts is required, along with taking a full 30-minute lunch.

Dress Code
Uniforms consist of navy scrubs for RNs, with options for navy or white scrub jackets. Personal grooming standards require clean and neat attire. Visible body art should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings, except for ears, are prohibited.
