Job description

Major Carrier – Local Shuttle Driver (Westfield, MA)

Board Code: 3/Z Home Daily Sun–Thurs 3–4 PM Starts

Overview: Local shuttle position hauling frozen grocery loads between Westfield, MA and relay yards in CT. Drop & hook, no touch. No NYC deliveries on primary shuttle work.

Pay:

  • ~$70,000/year
  • $5,000 sign‑on bonus (limited time)
  • $0.50–$0.54 CPM
  • Activity pay: daily rate, stop pay, detention, layover, holiday pay
  • $200/day paid training
  • Benefits after 30 days; PTO from day one

Duties:

  • Complete 3–10 shuttles/day
  • Occasional supermarket deliveries (2–3 stops, pallet jack unloading)
  • May assist Intermodal/DCS accounts
  • Operate within ~250‑mile radius
  • Slip seat; truck stays on site
