Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

J & T Charters provides year-round tour buses, event transportation, transit and shuttle buses to the TN, LA and AR area. We are seeking hard working, professional drivers that have a heart for people and passion for travel for our Memphis, TN location. We pride ourselves on providing safe and comfortable transportation option for our guests.


Qualifications:

  • CDL with Passenger Endorsement (Required)
  • 22 years of age or older with minimum of two years commercial driving experience
  • Must have clean MVR and DOT (Required)
  • Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug test according to DOT
  • Prior experience as a car service/chauffeur/shuttle driver welcome
  • Must have good customer service and clean appearance

Responsibilities include: (Under the direction of the Supervisor)

  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post trip assessment and ensure bus cleanliness
  • Driving local and/or cross-country trips in large vehicles
  • Use GPS to ensure efficient vehicle operation and on-time arrival
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure guests arrival to and from destinations safely
  • Report any bus which may need repair to the appropriate supervisor
