Human Resource Director

Position Summary


The Human Resources Director reports to the General Counsel and leads the HR department, including direct supervision of two HR Managers and one HR Admin. This role owns the Corporate employee group (100 employees) while driving enterprise-wide HR strategy across all divisions. The HR Director is responsible for the full scope of HR operations, including payroll assistance, benefits administration and strategy, leave management, compliance, recruiting coordination, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement programs, budgeting, and managing HR systems. This is a hands-on leadership role. The HR Director personally executes administrative HR functions for the Corporate group while providing strategic direction and oversight to the HR Managers who serve the company's F&B, Operating Entities, real estate, and construction divisions. The HR Director also coordinates with the company's outside recruiting network and serves as the escalation point for complex employee relations matters across all divisions.


Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including payroll, benefits, compliance, employee relations, and recruiting responsibilities.
  • Prior experience leading a multi-person HR team, including direct supervision of HR professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, leave administration, payroll practices, and benefits compliance.
  • Experience working with ADP Workforce Now, payroll, applicant tracking, learning management, and benefits administration systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and sensitive information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and discretion.


Preferred Qualifications

  • HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
  • Experience in multi-site operations, property management, food and beverage, construction, or real estate environments.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and compliance reporting.
  • Fluent Spanish a plus.
