OverviewManager of Data Insights to lead customer analytics and intelligence initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of customer intelligence—from data collection, analysis, and interpretation to the delivery of actionable insights that inform high-impact business decisions.The Manager will oversee traditional customer analytics, including segmentation, attribution, predictive modeling, and digital analytics, while monitoring customer trends and operational performance. As a key partner to Marketing, Sales, and business stakeholders, this leader will translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives, recommendations, and reporting that drive strategy, optimize performance, and support the growth of core audience segments and products.
Work Environment:

Hybrid Position (3 Days In-Office, 2 Days Remote):

  • This position follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office presence [three days per week] and remote work [two days per week]. Core work hours will be designated by the department. The office environment includes a standard workstation setup with collaborative spaces, while remote work requires a reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable home workspace. Employees must maintain availability during standard business hours and adhere to company policies for both in-office and remote work.
  • Tuesday–Thursday in office, Monday and Friday remote. Standard business hours with core availability between 8:00–9:00 a.m. and 5:00–6:00 p.m.
  • Travel: 0 – 10%

Responsibilities

Insights & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Partner with internal teams to offer strategic insights, review and translate findings, make actionable recommendations, measure program success, and provide insight into how to improve personalization use cases.
  • Package and communicate trends and insights to key stakeholders, including senior leadership, in a timely and effective manner.
  • Proactively identify trends, risks and opportunities within customer data to inform business priorities.
  • Develop business intelligence solutions to enable a diverse set of stakeholders to explore data, uncover new insights, and take action.

Reporting & Dashboard Development

  • Develop and manage audience, marketing, product-based, operational, and executive dashboards in Power BI or similar platforms; summarize data clearly and provide insightful analysis.
  • Lead support for analytics tools including, Customer Journey Analytics, Adobe Launch, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager, including access management, custom reports, event tracking, ecommerce funnels, and goal setup.

 

AI-Powered Analytics & Insights

  • Leverage AI and machine learning tools to enhance the speed, depth, and accuracy of customer analytics, reporting, and insight generation workflows.
  • Utilize AI-assisted and generative BI platforms (e.g., LLM-based analytics assistants, natural language querying tools) to reduce time-to-insight and increase accessibility of data across stakeholder groups.
  • Evaluate and champion emerging AI tools and methodologies to continuously advance the analytics function’s capabilities and competitive positioning.
  • Ensure responsible, governed, and transparent use of AI in analytics workflows, maintaining accuracy and integrity in AI-generated outputs.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Analytics, Computer Science, or a comparable degree in a relevant field.
  • Additional graduate certificates in analytics, reporting, or other post-graduate education in analytics.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in customer analytics, data insights or a related field with demonstrated expertise in customer segmentation, attribution modeling and end-to-end customer journey analytics.
  • 7 years’ experience in digital analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics, or Google Analytics) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Hands on experience with SQL and/or programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
  • Proven ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear business insights and recommendations for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing people.
  • Experience functioning in a highly matrixed organization.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Key Performance Indicator (KPI) development and goal setting in a traditional (non-association) business environment.
  • Experience using AI-powered business intelligence tools to make data and insights more accessible
  • Experience using Salesforce for reporting and analysis, including building custom reports and dashboards to surface customer and pipeline insights that support sales and marketing decision-making.

Certifications:

  • Adobe Analytics or Customer Journey Analytics Business Practitioner preferred.
  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst or Tableau Desktop Certified preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Alteryx, Python).
  • Advanced Excel skills including expertise in pivot tables, statistical functions, interactive charts, and macros.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics, and Adobe Launch.
  • Advanced skills in tagging and tracking web pages, features, ecommerce checkout flows, cross-domain and sub-domains, funnel analysis, and lifecycle marketing analytics.
  • Experience with customer data platforms (CDPs) and sales and marketing analytics ecosystems
  • Proven ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear business insights and be a strong collaborator with ability to build cross-functional relationships.
  • Professional integrity necessary to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong planning skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to complete assigned duties within critical deadlines.

The hiring range for this position is $125,000 to $145,000 per year. This range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
