Royal Shredding is a locally owned and operated document destruction company with over 25 years of combined experience in the industry. Our business is built on local friendly customer service. We believe in providing our clients with personal service and relationships.

CUSTOMER SERVICE ROUTE DRIVER (NON-CDL DRIVER) | LOCAL ROUTES | HOME DAILY

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are currently hiring a Customer Service Route Driver/Mobile Shred Truck Operator for our Alpharetta, GA location.


This is a hybrid position that combines customer service, route driving, and physical work. You will operate one of our specialized shredding trucks while servicing a scheduled route of residential and business customers.


This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently and staying active rather than sitting behind a desk all day. You can expect:

• Customer-focused route position with regular clients
• Mix of driving, customer service, and physical activity
• No CDL required (CDL drivers welcome)
• Opportunity for overtime and bonus pay
• Work independently managing your own route

No shredding experience required – we provide full training.

This position is Monday – Friday, 7 am to 5 pm, occasional Saturday work may be required. Local routes with an approximate 8 to 10 hour driving shift.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:


As a Route Driver / Mobile Shred Truck Operator, you will manage a daily service route throughout the area.

Your responsibilities include:


• Drive a company shredding truck to scheduled residential and business customer locations
• Provide friendly and professional customer service during each visit
• Collect confidential materials and securely shred them onsite
• Deliver and install secure shredding containers when needed
• Communicate with dispatch regarding route progress and scheduling
• Maintain accurate service records using mobile route software


Equipment and Truck Maintenance:

  • Safely operate a company commercial straight truck (non-CDL)
  • Ensure that fluid levels are maintained daily (ex. fuel, oil, transmission, hydraulic, coolant, brake, and DEF fluid.)
  • Perform daily vehicle safety inspections
  • Maintain a clean and professional vehicle
  • Report maintenance issues promptly


WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:


  • High school or GED Equivalent (Required)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Comfortable driving a commercial straight truck
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to repeatedly push and pull rolling shred containers (up to 300 lbs)
  • Able to lift 75-pound bags of paper from cabinets to dump into rolling bins
  • Ability to drive 8 to 10 hours shifts with limited break times
