Your Shine Lead

As Housekeeping Manager, you'll help keep Showboat Hotel & Island Waterpark crisp, clean, and always guest-ready. This onsite, full-time role exists to guide the housekeeping operation, protect service standards, and keep rooms and public spaces running smoothly.
Key responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support the housekeeping team
  • Complete room/public-area inspections and follow up on fixes
  • Create schedules, track payroll, and support budget goals
  • Manage inventory: ordering, par levels, and supply organization
  • Use hotel systems to assign work, coordinate priorities, and close out issues Ensure proper cleaning procedures, equipment use, and chemical safety while responding to guest needs quickly and professionally Required skills/qualifications
  • Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
  • Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving
  • Opera PMS + HotSOS (or similar systems)
  • Budgeting, scheduling, payroll, and inventory control
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemical safety
  • Hospitality service standards + guest satisfaction focus
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and clear communication
