Assembly Specialist – Temporary Assignment
Assignment Length: 4 days (July 20–July 23)
Start Time: 8:00 AM daily
Location: Goodyear, AZ
Pay Rate: $30 per hour
Job Description
Join our team for a short-term project supporting a vital hospital equipment upgrade! As an Assembly Specialist, you will work alongside a dedicated employee to replace a small, wall-mounted device in every patient room throughout Abrazo West Hospital. No medical device experience is required, as the process involves simply removing the old device and inserting a new one into the existing holster.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely remove and replace wall-mounted devices in patient rooms
  • Announce your presence using a short introduction script when entering occupied rooms
  • Power on new devices and ensure proper placement
  • Box up and prepare old devices for shipment at the end of each day
  • Collaborate and be accompanied by the hospital's clinical engineering staff as needed
Requirements:
  • Must be reliable and available for the entire 4-day assignment
  • Tech-savvy with an ability to handle and test basic equipment
  • Professional demeanor and respectful communication, especially around patients
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
  • Must be punctual and ready to start at 8:00 AM daily
