Job description

Newington, CTImagineers is a highly regarded, Hartford based property management company managing over 25 rental properties in Connecticut.We are seeking an experienced Tax Credit Property Manager to manage a 68 unit tax credit property located in Newington. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of Tax Credit experience or experience in Affordable Housing, Section 8 or HUD as well as Yardi experience and a full understanding of the program's compliance requirements including processing annual certifications, interims, and recertifications. Candidate will be required to become Tax Credit Certified within their first year of employment.Must be extremely organized with an attention to detail, excellent written and verbal skills, strong computer and office technology skills, as well as outstanding customer service skills and the ability to deal professionally, courteously and tactfully with residents, prospects, contractors and on-site staff. This position supervises two support staff.  Supervisory experience is a plus!This is an exempt, benefitted position, 40 hours per week, with competitive wages and benefits and provides great opportunity for continued growth within our company.Qualifications: Associate degree or higher preferred. One or more years of relevant residential or real estate property management experience. Experience working with HUD, RAP and LIHTC program preferred. Prior experience with Yardi Classic software.
