Job description

What you will be doing

  • Complete a nightly MOD checklist and send copies to the General Manager, Engineer, Housekeeping and F&B teams.
  • Manage guest resolution process to include investigation of situation and creative problem solving to ensure guest is satisfied with outcome.
  • Handle emergencies that may develop in the hotel, with full authority to contact all providers and ensure all issues are handled and reported.
  • Assist any department that is short staffed or needs additional help.
  • Have complete understanding of Front Office staff's job descriptions and duties and be able to perform duties at any given time.
  • Accurately manage and operate the OnQ system at the front office, including all daily transactions and those which are not performed often, including Night Audit
  • Have knowledge of Food and Beverage operations and be ready to assist in the restaurant should the need arise
  • Have knowledge/understanding of the Simphony POS system
