Job Description:

Shop Mechanic is responsible for the repair and maintenance of various equipment. This position will be required to address day to day breakdowns as well as scheduled maintenance, and requested changes to hydraulic and electric Saws, Drills, Power Units, Generators etc. The Shop Mechanic is expected to complete service record paperwork, order parts, research solutions, and update systems for maintenance reminders.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair various equipment
  • Maintain a clean area for safety and efficiency
  • Comply with OSHA and shop safety guidelines
  • Timely complete work orders with accuracy and detail
  • Research and order parts, maintaining an inventory to complete work timely
  • Input data into our maintenance and tracking system (ManagerPlus)
  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must pass Drug Screen (Required)
  • Valid Driver's License (Required)
  • Must have a good driving record (MVR)
  • Must have own tools or the ability to acquire tools
  • Ability to complete data entry on PC/Tablet
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized and mechanically minded
  • Self-motivated and punctual
