About the Position:
Position: Shop Mechanic
Location: Houston, TX
Pay: $20-$35 per hour (Negotiable based on experience)
Full Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, ESOP
The Shop Mechanic is responsible for:
• Maintaining and repairing diesel trucks, ranging in size from tractors/trailers to medium duty trucks
• Maintaining and repairing the mounted contractor's equipment contained on vehicles
• Documenting preventive maintenance efforts as required to achieve compliance with D.O.T. regulations
Requirements:
• Valid Driver's License required(CDL Preferred), or willing to obtain a CDL B with Air Brake within 90 days.
• 5 years of experience with BIT inspections
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Ability to pass safety training exams and the background check required
• Prioritize safety, is conscientious, dependable and quality-minded.
