About the role The Runner/Shop Helper supports the Alvin, TX daily warehouse operations under supervision by assisting personnel with routine tasks. This entry-level role focuses on safely performing basic duties while developing proficiency in equipment operation. The position also requires driving a company vehicle to various locations to pick up materials.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Keep the shop clean, safe and organized.
  • Transport parts between Alvin and La Porte facilities with company owned vehicle
  • Transport parts by forklift to various locations on the property as needed.
  • Practice Lean principles in daily work participate in LEAN events.
  • Proactively engage and support company initiatives designed to promote a culture of safest working and continual improvement.

Requirements:

  • Must have transportation to the Alvin, TX location
  • Clean driving record
  • Forklift experience is preferred, not required.
  • Experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Willing to work weekends and OT when needed.
