Location: Washington, DC Metro Area (Maryland-based facility) 
Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 + Benefits + Bonus

Typical Hours: Monday-Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm

Production Supervisor Description

Our client, a leader in custom signage manufacturing, is looking for a Production Supervisor to add to their team as a long-tenured leader transitions out of the position.  In this highly visible leadership role, you will lead shop personnel, manage workflow across multiple departments, and help engineer custom fabrication projects from concept through production. You will oversee daily operations within the fabrication plant, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to quality standards.

This position requires a balance of leadership, technical fabrication knowledge, and engineering problem-solving ability. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of metal fabrication, vinyl, plastics, CNC routing, and paint, along with the ability to troubleshoot and develop solutions for custom builds. Experience in signage manufacturing is required. This role requires a hands-on leadership style, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage workflow, personnel, and production priorities across 50+ active custom projects simultaneously. Production Supervisor Responsibilities

•    Lead daily operations within a custom fabrication and manufacturing environment 
•    Manage workflow, scheduling, and priorities across 50+ active projects to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met 
•    Coordinate production activities departments across departments
•    Partner with design and engineering teams to develop practical fabrication solutions and improve manufacturability of custom builds 
•    Troubleshoot production challenges and provide hands-on technical leadership throughout the fabrication process 
•    Supervise, mentor, and motivate shop personnel while fostering a positive, engaged, and team-oriented culture 
•    Balance personnel management, production demands, and shifting priorities 
•    Drive operational efficiency, communication, and workflow improvements to keep projects moving smoothly through production

Production Supervisor Qualifications

•    5+ years of custom signage manufacturing experience required 
•    2+ years of Production Management or Supervisory experience required
•    Production scheduling and workflow management experience required 
•    Strong engineering aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills required
