Job description

Clayton Services is searching for a Shop Helper to join a thriving company in Northwest Houston. The Shop Helper plays a key part in supporting shop and production operations, including crating products, cleaning pipe, and operating a variety of saws, grinders, and other power tools. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and willing to perform a wide range of duties to keep operations running smoothly.
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour plus OT
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more.
Shift: 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm or 3:30 pm - 2:00 am
Shop Helper Responsibilities:

  • Crate and prepare finished products for shipment or storage.
  • Clean and prepare pipe and other materials for production use.
  • Safely operate saws, grinders, and other hand or power tools.
  • Assist with various shop and production tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Support both day-to-day operations and special projects as needed.


Shop Helper Skills and Abilities:
