Job description

Machine Shop Assistant! We're seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual with mechanical aptitude and a commitment to quality.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist with operating manual lathes, saws, cutters, and other machine shop equipment

  • Read blueprints and inspect parts to ensure quality standards

  • Perform deburring, finishing, assembly, and cleaning of machined components

  • Load/unload materials and assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory as needed

  • Use measuring tools, power tools, forklifts, and overhead cranes safely

What We're Looking For:

  • Ability to read machining blueprints and use measuring tools

  • Strong attention to detail and quality

  • Mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience preferred

  • Basic computer skills and good time management

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in an active shop environment

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English

Pay Details: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
