As a Dessert Shop Attendant, you will work in a brand-new, all-inclusive dessert shop experience designed to create fun and memorable moments for guests. These spaces will feature soft serve ice cream, cakes, desserts, and other creative sweet treats throughout the season.

This position is perfect for someone who is personable, engaging, dependable, and excited to work in a fun guest-facing environment. Cleanliness, customer service, food safety, and a warm personality are at the heart of this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model and promote Levy’s Family Values: Nice, Innovative, Passionate, and Inclusive.
  • Provide friendly, engaging, and welcoming service to guests.
  • Set up, stock, maintain, and break down dessert shop areas before, during, and after events.
  • Serve soft serve ice cream, cakes, desserts, and other featured dessert items according to Levy standards.
  • Keep dessert displays clean, organized, stocked, and visually appealing throughout service.
  • Monitor product quality, freshness, presentation, temperatures, and product levels.
  • Restock desserts, toppings, cones, cups, utensils, napkins, and other supplies as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of counters, machines, displays, equipment, storage areas, and guest-facing spaces.
  • Follow all Levy, Delta Center, food-safety, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace-safety procedures.
  • Properly handle, store, label, rotate, and secure dessert products, ingredients, supplies, and equipment.
  • Communicate product needs, guest feedback, equipment issues, or safety concerns to management.
  • Assist with product counts, waste tracking, cleanup, inventory organization, and month-end inventory as assigned.
  • Support new dessert ideas and seasonal offerings as the program grows.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned based on event and department needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Food service, dessert shop, ice cream, concessions, hospitality, or guest-service experience is preferred but not required.
  • Friendly, engaging, personable, and comfortable interacting with guests.
  • Strong customer-service skills and a guest-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently while partnering with Culinary, Premium leadership, and team members.
  • Ability to stay organized, move with urgency, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow food-safety, sanitation, hygiene, and safe food-handling standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced event environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional.
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, bend, reach, stock, clean, and move for extended periods.
  • Ability to work a flexible event-based schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, Utah Jazz games, Utah Mammoth games, concerts, and other Delta Center events.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid Utah Food Handler Permit.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid Utah On-Premise Alcohol Certificate if required by assignment.
