DEPARTMENT: Auxiliary
EXEMPT: No
VICE PRESIDENT: VP for Auxiliary Services
GENERAL STATEMENT OF THE FUNCTION

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices.
  • Greet all customers that come in with a warm welcome
  • Ring up all merchandise and other charges correctly and fill out sign in sheet. Must have amounts, cart # and starting times written in.
  • Keep all bills in the cash drawer face up and to the right.
  • All messages must be written down. Leave any important notes for the upcoming day.
  • Make all customers aware of any special rules (cart path only, tournaments etc.)
  • Restock all merchandise, pencils and scorecards.
  • Dust pro shop counters and displays thoroughly. (Keep working area neat and clean)
  • Vacuum pro shop and office thoroughly (move things to vacuum entire shop and office).
  • Take out garbage and replace bags.
  • Replenish drinks and snacks for the next day.
  • Put Money from register and box safe in the Master Safe.
  • Turn off one set of lights keeping half the lights on in the golf shop.
  • Lock all doors & set alarm. (Don't forget to make sure ice room is locked) Other duties as assigned for the proper operation of Eagle Ridge Golf Course.
