Job description

Crawfordsville Golf Course, located in Crawfordsville, IN, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Pro Shop/Cart Attendant! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
 
Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less).
 
Schedule:
Must be able to work nights and weekends.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Continually monitors, implements, and adheres to all company goals, policies, procedures, and controls
  • Assists golf professionals with checking in golfers and maintains a properly functioning tee sheet and pace of play
  • Assists with receiving merchandise and adheres to purchase order procedures
  • Assists with the rotation of shop displays
  • Brings carts from the cart barn in the morning and returns them to the cart barn at the end of the day
  • Cleans, fuels, and checks carts after each use
  • Ensures the carts are available for player use at all times
  • Receives and communicates complaints to the Pro Shop
  • Works closely with Pro Shop staff to prepare for and conduct golf tournaments
  • Maintains an organized stock room and assists the buyer and other shop assistants with stock and golf shop cleanliness
  • Assists with pricing of merchandise
  • Assists with maintaining proper inventory counts and levels
  • Performs other duties as requested by the Head Professional
  • Provides service in any and every way; goes the extra mile to provide the standard of service guests expect
Experience/Education/Certification Requirements
  • High school education or its equivalent
  • Must be able to fluently speak and write English
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds to waist height
  • Frequent bending, turning, kneeling, and stooping
  • Exposure to hot and cold temperatures
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
  • Repetitive motion required, including computer entry
  • Must be able to operate a golf cart safely
  • Normal vision and hearing required
