SEASONAL GOLF SHOP ASSISTANT - TIARA RADO & LINCOLN PARK GOLF COURSES
HIRING RANGE: $15.16 PER HOUR
About the Position:
Experience a culture of hospitality at Tiara Rado and Lincoln Park Golf Courses firsthand as a Golf Shop Assistant. Main duties will be to assist the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional in day-to-day operations at either facility, which include, but are not limited to: Golf Shop opening and closing procedures, the collection of greens, carts, and event fees, sales of Golf Shop merchandise, and the coordination of outside staff activities. Individuals should be self-starters, use common sense, love golf, and be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You'll Do:
  • Engage our customers with a smile and a servant's heart.
  • Open and close the Golf Shop while adhering to standard operating procedures at each venue.
  • Collect golf-related fees using various computer and reporting systems.
  • Assist the Golf Professional staff with various day-to-day operations.

What We're Looking For:
  • Applicants must be able to successfully pass a drug screen, background check, and, if required for the specific position, a physical examination.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude.
  • Desire to serve the customer with a smile.
  • Knowledge of Point-of-Sale computer systems, and the ability to handle cash registers.
  • Ability to stand for hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
