Depending on your role, your responsibilities might include following the standard operating procedure, evaluating the conditions of the range, teaching a guest how to operate the targets and lanes, knowing the emergency plans and executing them when required, collecting a fee and checking a customer’s permits, and generally participating in the enforcement of the strict rules and regulations. Description

About Us:

Headquartered in the United States, TP-Link Systems Inc. is a global provider of reliable networking devices and smart home products, consistently ranked as the world’s top provider of Wi-Fi devices. The company is committed to delivering innovative products that enhance people’s lives through faster, more reliable connectivity. With a commitment to excellence, TP-Link serves customers in over 170 countries and continues to grow its global footprint.

We believe technology changes the world for the better! At TP-Link Systems Inc, we are committed to crafting dependable, high-performance products to connect users worldwide with the wonders of technology.

Embracing professionalism, innovation, excellence, and simplicity, we aim to assist our clients in achieving remarkable global performance and enable consumers to enjoy a seamless, effortless lifestyle.

About the role:

Lighting skill is critical for the job. You'll report to the Creative Director and shoot both stills and motion, product, lifestyle, social, often in spaces that aren't built for it. Our studio setup is lean, so the work depends on what you can do with light and a few smart choices, not a big budget or a perfect room. When a full shoot isn't realistic, you'll know how to finish the work with AI tools instead. You'll also mentor the video designers on the team, so your standards become the team's standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shoot photo and video for product, lifestyle, brand, and social content
  • Light scenes with real skill, including imperfect spaces that need creative problem-solving, not just gear
  • Set up and run lighting for studio and on-location shoots, adapting fast on site
  • Use AI video and image tools to complete, fix or extend work when a full shoot isn't practical or budgeted
  • Frame every shot with intention: composition, core concept, depth, and movement, never default
  • Run a shoot solo or with a small crew, camera, lighting, and grip
  • Mentor video designers, raising their lighting, framing, and storyboard.
  • Keep an eye on what top brands are doing and bring fresh ideas into our own work
  • Report directly to the Creative Director, turning creative direction into shot lists and lighting plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • 7+ years of experience in video and photo production, with a strong portfolio demonstrating elevated visual quality, storytelling, and production execution.
  • A portfolio with real photo and video range, not just one or the other
  • Lighting skill that shapes mood, not just exposure
  • A track record of getting great shots in less-than-ideal spaces
  • Strong, current knowledge of AI video and image tools, and when to use them instead of a full shoot
  • Sharp framing and composition instincts
  • Comfortable running a shoot start to finish, solo
  • A point of view on what the best brands are doing, and ideas for pushing our work further
  • Some experience mentoring other shooters or video designers

Preferred Skills

  • Equally strong in controlled studio setups and messy on-location conditions
  • Basic editing or color sense, enough to know what post needs from you

Benefits

Salary Range: $120K-$140K

Benefits

  • Free snacks and drinks
  • Fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance (partial coverage for dependents)
  • Contributions to 401k funds
  • Bi-annual reviews, and annual pay increases
  • Health and wellness benefits, including free gym membership
  • Quarterly team-building events

At TP-Link Systems Inc., we are continually searching for ambitious individuals who are passionate about their work. We believe that diversity fuels innovation, collaboration, and drives our entrepreneurial spirit. As a global company, we highly value diverse perspectives and are committed to cultivating an environment where all voices are heard, respected, and valued. We are dedicated to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants, and we prohibit discrimination and harassment of any kind based on race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws. If you share our passion and connection to this mission, we welcome you to apply and join us in building a vibrant and inclusive team at TP-Link Systems Inc.
