Lazer Logistics is Now Hiring Local CDL-A Yard Drivers! Start at $21.50 - $27.00 per Hour* - Home Daily - No-Touch Freight Limited-Time $3,000 Stay Bonus*

If you are looking for a local CDL job near you that offers consistency, predictability, and a better day-to-day driving experience, this is it! As a Local Yard Driver with Lazer Logistics, you will stay in one location for your entire shift. No traffic, no long routes, and no multiple stops. Instead, you focus on moving trailers in one location and going home after every shift.


Pay and Benefits:
  • Start at $21.50 - $27.00 per hour - based on location
  • Limited-time $3,000 stay bonus - based on location
  • Overtime available after 40 hours
  • Shift differential pay of $0.50 - $3.00 - based on location
  • Weekly pay

Job Responsibilities:
  • Move trailers within the yard and between dock doors
  • Perform drop and hook operations
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Communicate with dispatch and yard personnel
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation


Requirements:
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • 6+ months of verifiable experience
  • Current DOT Medical Card
  • Safe driving and FMCSA Clearinghouse record
  • Acceptable background check
  • Experience operating tractor-trailers
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to get in and out of the truck throughout the shift
