Job description

Boston Harbor Shipyard and Marina is seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Office Administrator to support the daily operations of our marina and shipyard office. This role is responsible for maintaining professional front office operations while delivering excellent customer service to marina tenants, vessel owners, and visitors.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and is able to manage multiple responsibilities independently while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, organization, and reliability are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Managing daily operations of the office

  • Processing marina reservations, dockage contracts, and customer inquiries

  • Answering/managing incoming calls, responding to general inquiries, and directing requests to the appropriate staff member

  • Maintaining office and retail inventory, including supplies and merchandise

  • Monitoring accounts receivable and assisting with payment tracking and follow-up

  • Ensuring tasks and office responsibilities are completed consistently and on time

Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
