Position Summary:

Responsible for all aspects of receiving and performing a variety of warehouse duties by performing the following duties.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepares customer shipments accurately according to pick tickets by lifting, packaging, weighing and recording pertinent shipping information on pick ticket for internal use.
  • Contacts freight companies for pick ups, deliveries, discrepancies and damaged shipments.
  • Maintains warehouse shelves and areas in a clean, organized manner.
  • Move or expedite material to proper department or place in temporary storage.
  • May operate forklift in unloading of material.
  • Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and other Abilities:

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Time management skills.
  • High level of organization and the ability to keep time lines and due dates.
  • Demonstrates good judgment and decision making based on information given.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack and rolling ladders.
  • Clean driving record.



Requirements:

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; one to two years of work related experience.
