Job description

Shipping & Receiving Lead
$25+/hr
1st shift 7am-3pm M-F
Neenah, WI

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily shipping and receiving operations with a positive, team-focused attitude.
  • Provide professional customer service to drivers, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quantity, and quality.
  • Report damaged or incorrect shipments and complete required documentation.
  • Prepare shipping documents, including packing slips and bills of lading.
  • Coordinate shipments with carriers and monitor delivery schedules.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using the ERP system.
  • Perform cycle counts, physical inventories, and investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Lead the annual physical inventory process.
  • Ensure materials are stored properly and delivered to the correct departments.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional education preferred).
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • At least 2 years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift experience (certification preferred or ability to become certified).
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift, push, pull, and move materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
  • Bend, reach, twist, stoop, and climb ladders as needed.
  • Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely.
  • Read labels, reports, and shipping documents accurately.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work Environment
