Job description

The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily logistics, inventory control, and warehousing operations within a biologicals manufacturing environment focused on humic and fulvic-based products.

This hands-on position coordinates shipping, receiving, and warehousing activities to ensure accurate inventory management, timely product movement, warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with company quality and safety standards. The Coordinator works closely with production, warehouse, and logistics personnel to maintain an organized, efficient, and compliant operation.


Roles & Responsibilities

Shipping, Receiving, Warehousing & Inventory Control

  • Coordinate daily shipping activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Prepare and review shipping documentation, including packing slips, bills of lading, and customs documents when applicable.
  • Schedule shipments and communicate with carriers, freight companies, and logistics providers.
  • Verify shipping accuracy, ensure products are packaged and labeled according to customer and company requirements, and sign off on accuracy of shipment against purchase orders.
  • Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies, delays, and transportation issues.
  • Maintain shipping records and support continuous improvement initiatives within logistics operations.
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and completeness.
  • Verify quantities and condition of received materials against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Accurately enter receiving and shipping transactions into inventory management systems.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through routine cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Investigate and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper storage, organization, and handling of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Operational Support

  • Collaborate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to support daily operational goals.
  • Assist with training new team members on shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory procedures.
