Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to support daily warehouse operations, including receiving materials, processing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring timely delivery of products. This role works closely with production, supply chain, and customer service teams to support efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and outbound shipments for accuracy and quality.

  • Prepare, stage, label, wrap, and ship orders through UPS, FedEx, LTL, and other carriers.

  • Load, unload, and move materials safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records through ERP systems and support cycle counts and physical inventories.

  • Enter and track receipts, transfers, and shipments while ensuring data accuracy.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure orders are processed and delivered on time.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and other warehouse-related duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.

  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.

  • Forklift experience preferred; certification provided if needed.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Basic computer and inventory management system skills.

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Capable of lifting and moving materials as required.
