Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to lead the warehouse operations to support the Industrial Distribution and Custom Converting functions. In this role, you will oversee the daily warehouse and distribution activities to optimize efficiency of the shipping, receiving, inventory control, and manufacturing functions. You will also provide leadership to foster a productive team environment and uphold company standards for process improvement and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Will lead the warehouse operations to include daily shipping, receiving, customer pick-ups, and the flow of manufacturing goods and materials.
  • Manage and control the logistics of manufacturing raw materials and manufactured finished goods.
  • Oversee warehouse and operations with distribution goods. Manage inventory stock levels.
  • Conduct periodic physical inventory cycle counts and twice a year full inventory counts.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners to streamline shipping schedules.
  • Provide oversight of quality inspections in order to meet regulatory standards.
  • Ensure all safety measures are met and manage the HazMat shipping process to enforce all safety protocols.
  • Will train, supervise and schedule warehouse team and manage their performance to meet operational goals.
  • Improve warehouse workflows, space utilization, and overall process optimization.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related warehouse experience, preferably in the printing, manufacturing, or converting industry with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Lean manufacturing, six sigma, or continuous improvement experience desired.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills are required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated record and achievement in warehouse operations for ensuring high quality standards, operational reliability, and continuous process improvement.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems is necessary.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of OSHA and HazMat shipping regulations and compliance.
  • The ideal candidate will be physically capable of lifting, pulling, and pushing items from 35 lbs. up to 50 lbs.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
