Job description

Location: Maple Grove,MN

Peli BioThermal offers temperature-controlled packaging and service solutions to the global life sciences industry. Our products help protect critical biological materials and pharmaceuticals throughout the supply chain.

We’re looking for a Receiving Specialist to join our team in South Deerfield, MA. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing environment and has experience with receiving, inventory, shipping and receiving, and forklift operations.

What You'll Do
  • Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against packing slips, manifests, and delivery documents.
  • Verify product quantities, counts, weights, and shipment documentation for accuracy.
  • Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials.
  • Enter receiving transactions into the company ERP system and maintain accurate electronic records.
  • Scan and maintain receiving documentation for electronic filing.
  • Perform cycle counts and make inventory adjustments as needed.
  • Work closely with Purchasing, Accounting, Shipping/Receiving, and Receiving Inspection to resolve discrepancies and keep materials moving.
  • Process returned materials and notify the appropriate departments of RMA activity.
  • Receive and process Stock Transfer Orders (STOs).
  • Coordinate the movement of materials and paperwork to and from outside vendors.
  • Assist with material handling and moving inventory throughout the facility.
  • Train Material Handlers on receiving procedures and processes.
  • Interact professionally with delivery drivers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Follow company safety, quality, and operating procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
  • 1–2 years of receiving, warehouse, or shipping/receiving experience.
  • Experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
  • Ability to pass the required forklift certification.
  • Basic computer skills with experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to accurately complete paperwork and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as required.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, including evenings and weekends when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP or another ERP system, particularly materials management and shipping/receiving functions.
  • Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a GMP environment.
  • Experience with inventory control and cycle counting.
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience.
