We're looking for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in organization, and understands the importance of getting customer orders out the door accurately and on time.

If you prefer working on the shop floor rather than behind a desk, we'd like to talk with you.

What You'll Do

  • Package fabricated parts and weldments for shipment.

  • Wrap, band, and secure pallets to prevent shipping damage.

  • Verify part numbers, quantities, and customer paperwork before shipment.

  • Schedule pickups with UPS, FedEx, LTL carriers, and dedicated freight companies.

  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.

  • Coordinate daily shipments with production and Quality to ensure orders are complete.

  • Receive incoming materials and verify packing slips and quantities.

  • Maintain an organized shipping and receiving area.

  • Assist with inventory movement and finished goods storage.

  • Help develop and maintain packaging standards to reduce shipping damage.

  • Communicate shipping issues, shortages, or concerns to production and management.

What We're Looking For

  • Comfortable lifting, moving, and packaging materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Good organizational and communication skills.

  • Basic computer skills for scheduling shipments and processing paperwork.

  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while remaining a team player.

What Makes Someone Successful

  • Takes ownership of every shipment.

  • Understands that packaging is just as important as manufacturing the part.

  • Works well with production, quality, and customer service.

  • Keeps the shipping area clean, organized, and efficient.

  • Has a sense of urgency without sacrificing quality or accuracy.

Schedule

  • Full-time, hourly position.

  • Four-day work week (Monday through Thursday).

  • Overtime on Fridays as needed.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.

  • 401(k) with company match.

  • Company-paid short- and long-term disability insurance.

  • Company-paid life insurance.

  • Paid vacation after the probationary period.

  • Competitive hourly wage based on experience.

At Starflex Fabrication, quality doesn't stop when the part is built—it ends when it arrives at our customer's facility in perfect condition. If you're someone who enjoys staying busy, takes pride in your work, and wants to be part of a growing manufacturing team, we'd love to hear from you.

You should be proficient in:
