We're looking for a talented Material Handler to join our dynamic team and help us craft high-quality products. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods throughout the facility. This position supports production and shipping operations by ensuring materials are delivered to the appropriate locations, inventory is maintained accurately, and products are handled safely and efficiently. The Material Handler operates forklifts and other material handling equipment while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements
What You'll Do:

  • Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Transport raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Supply production departments with materials as needed to maintain efficient workflow.
  • Remove completed products from production areas and stage them for shipping or storage.
  • Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and products using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Verify material quantities and product identification to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Conduct routine inventory checks and assist with cycle counts as required.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage and report discrepancies to management.
  • Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory transactions.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
  • Ensure materials are stored properly and inventory locations remain organized.
  • Assist with loading shipments and preparing products for shipment as needed.
  • Maintain clean work areas and follow established housekeeping standards.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality requirements.
  • Communicate material shortages, inventory discrepancies, and operational concerns to supervisors.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management
Who You Are:
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, or material handling operations preferred.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification required.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control practices preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to follow all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to accurately count inventory.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • May occasionally be required to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing in excess of 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
