We are seeking a Shipping Scheduler to join our Supply Chain & Logistics team. This position is responsible for coordinating daily shipping schedules, transportation planning, dock operations, and carrier communication to ensure customer orders are delivered accurately and on time. The ideal candidate has experience in logistics, warehouse operations, transportation scheduling, or supply chain coordination and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires bilingual proficiency in Korean and English.

Job Summary

The Shipping Scheduler coordinates daily shipping operations, transportation schedules, and dock activities to support efficient logistics and on-time customer deliveries. This role works closely with production, warehouse operations, inventory control, and transportation carriers to develop shipping schedules, optimize freight utilization, and maintain accurate shipment documentation. The Shipping Scheduler monitors shipping performance, manages transportation logistics, and helps ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review customer purchase orders, shipping requirements, delivery schedules, and transportation requests to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
  • Develop and maintain daily shipping schedules based on production output, customer demand, carrier availability, and warehouse capacity.
  • Coordinate dock assignments, trailer staging, loading schedules, and shipping equipment readiness.
  • Verify shipping volumes, delivery routes, freight capacity, and shipment accuracy before dispatch.
  • Optimize trailer utilization and transportation efficiency to maximize freight performance.
  • Enter, maintain, and update shipment information within logistics, shipping, and inventory management systems.
  • Monitor warehouse inventory withdrawals, loading progress, and shipping activities to minimize delays and improve operational efficiency.
  • Track expedited orders, customer priorities, and schedule changes while communicating updates to internal teams and transportation providers.
  • Conduct shipping dock safety inspections and report safety concerns in accordance with company policies and OSHA guidelines.
  • Prepare daily shipping reports, logistics performance metrics, shipment status updates, and inventory withdrawal summaries.
  • Monitor shipping label inventory and coordinate replenishment to support uninterrupted shipping operations.
  • Collaborate with production, warehouse, customer service, logistics, and transportation partners to resolve shipping issues and improve delivery performance.
  • Maintain accurate shipping documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain process.
  • Follow all company safety policies, attendance requirements, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
