The Material Handler is expected to be proficient at safe forklift operation at all times including physical movement of material in, out, and within the building while performing all necessary system transactions in the Oracle Warehouse Management system. Activities performed will include shipping and receiving material in and out of the building, supplying production lines with material, and putting away material from production lines. You will work night shift 10pm-6am.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ship As Is (SAI)
  • Take bulk rolls from the coaters to the respective location (SAI trailers or WIP locations) while performing all necessary transactions
  • Load trailers with bulk roll material that needs to be shipped out to the network while performing all necessary systems transactions
  • Receive incoming bulk roll material from the network while performing all the system transactions and quality checks
  • Conduct daily and weekly cycle counts
  • Move trailers in and out of dock doors while following dock door safety protocols
  • Follow all health, safety, and housekeeping procedures, policies and practices and consistently work in a safe manner with regard to self, co-workers, and manufacturing systems.
  • Shipping Loader
  • Load trailers in Shipping while performing all necessary system transactions, paperwork filing, and safety procedures
  • Unload the line to keep material flowing from Finishing to Shipping
  • Understand and implement the quality standard procedures
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts
  • Follow all health, safety, and housekeeping procedures, policies and practices and consistently work in a safe manner with regard to self, co-workers, and manufacturing systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Receiving
  • Supply raw material to the coaters while performing all necessary transactions.
  • Take butt rolls or any raw material rolls returned from the coaters to the respective location in the warehouse while performing all necessary transactions.
  • Receiving incoming raw material from suppliers while performing all necessary transactions, quality inspections, and documentation.
  • Conduct safety cycle counts
  • Follow all health, safety, and housekeeping procedures, policies and practices and consistently work in a safe manner with regard to self, co-workers, and manufacturing systems.
