Part-Time Warehouse Operations Clerk – Shipping & Receiving

Certco is looking for two Part-Time Warehouse Operations Clerks to join our team in Madison! This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a consistent part-time schedule, someone returning to the workforce, or someone looking to get their foot in the door with a company where there are opportunities to learn, develop, and grow.

What You'll Do

As a Warehouse Office Clerk, you will provide administrative support to our warehouse operations and help keep things running smoothly. Responsibilities include:

  • Processing daily orders
  • Completing route cubing, processing, and order printing
  • Completing debit sheets for late customer orders
  • Preparing and coordinating trip records and invoicing
  • Assisting inbound receiving drivers with door assignments and paperwork
  • Responding to customer questions regarding their orders
  • Answering phones and assisting with access control
  • Scheduling warehouse receiving appointments
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor

This position requires attention to detail, the ability to coordinate multiple activities, and strong communication skills. You will work with warehouse employees, drivers, customers, and other business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.


Part-Time Schedules

Warehouse Operations Clerk #1

  • Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday
  • 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • 24 hours per week

Warehouse Operations Clerk #2

  • Thursday & Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Saturday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 24 hours per week

Requirements:

Job Summary

Provides support for the warehouse by order processing, assembling picks, complete order finalization, completing trip records, answering telephones, schedule receiving, and other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor.


Essential Job Functions

  • Process orders for daily order processing.
  • Complete route cubing, processing and order printing
  • Complete debit sheets for customers’ late orders after order cut off times. 
  • Write, edit and coordinate trip records and invoicing.
  • Assist Inbound receiving drivers with door assignments and paperwork
  • Responds to customers’ inquiries about their orders.
  • Answers telephones and grant access to access control points. 
  • Schedule receiving appointments for the warehouse.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Is regular in attendance and complies with the Company Attendance Policy

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of warehouse office environment
  • Knowledge of and skill in using computer software, including MS Word and Excel.
  • Skill in operating various office equipment, such as personal computer, calculator and copy machine.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and with little supervision while keeping a productive workstation

Education and Experience

  • High school graduate or equivalent
