Description:

The Shipping Warehouse Associate will contribute and support business operations through the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Maintains a consistent corporate image through all deliveries and interactions
  • Ensures correct shipment of orders
  • Prepares product for shipping to mitigate damage
  • Utilizes shipping programs for outgoing LTL shipments
  • Verifies customer orders ensuring they are correct and complete
  • Receives incoming freight from shipping companies and log it in
  • Sweeps warehouse aisles and pick-up debris, scrap, and waste in the rack areas and general work areas; perform general maintenance as assigned
  • Maintains works area in a clean and orderly fashion following procedures, practices, and policies established for the warehouse and to maintain a safe workplace for all employees
Requirements:
  • Experience in distribution center environment preferred, but not required
  • Must be able to lift over 50 lbs. repeatedly
  • Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, climb ladders, push/pull heavy carts continuously during their shift
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist and reach over their head while pushing and pulling boxes weighing 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand for entire shift
  • Must possess good attendance and performance record
