Job description

If you're someone who takes safety seriously, stays sharp, and likes knowing there's always work to be done, this is your kind of job. As a Forklift Operator on our shipping team, you'll be the backbone of our warehouse floor โ€” keeping materials flowing, trucks loaded, and shipments out the door on time.

You'll operate sit-down, stand-up, and swing reach/narrow aisle forklifts depending on the day's needs โ€” if you enjoy running equipment, the days will go by fast.

Shifts Available:

  • Shift 13: 4:00am - 2:00pm, Monday - Thursday

Starting Rate of Pay:

  • $19.80 per hour base rate. Candidates with relevant experience may be eligible for base pay up to $20.80 per hour.

Day-to-day looks like:

  • Move finished product throughout the warehouse
  • Put product away and pull it from racking
  • Stage pallets for outgoing shipments
  • Load trucks when they arrive

Equipment Youโ€™ll Use

  • Narrow aisle forklift for racking and pulling product
  • Stand-up forklift for moving product across the floor
  • Sit-down forklift for staging and loading trucks quantities prior to shipment

Requirements

    • 6 + months of forklift experience required
    • Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently, following all company safety guidelines
    • Ability to use tablets, scanners, and computer systems for data entry and work assignments
    • Familiarity with pallets, containers, and shipping materials used in warehouse operations
    • Basic math skills for calculating weights, dimensions, and load placement
    • Ability to work independently and make decisions regarding workflow priorities
  • Physical Requirements
      • Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a forklift
      • Ability to occasionally lift or move containers weighing up to 65 lbs.
      • Frequent handling of materials, pallets, and shipping containers
      • Required PPE: eye protection, hearing protection, MET guard safety shoes
