Job Title: Deburring, Shipping & Receiving Associate

Location: Poway, CA
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours/week), Non-exempt (hourly), In-Person
Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM PST
Department: Hand finishing and Deburring
Reports To: Production Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Deburring, Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. This role will be responsible for hand finishing and deburring parts as well as receiving incoming items and material into the ERP system, cleaning parts, and assisting with shipping/receiving operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Debur components correctly, and in a timely manner according to process documentation.
  • Perform visual inspection according to process documentation.
  • Clean parts.
  • Receive material or other incoming shipments into the ERP system.
  • Pack outgoing items for their outside vendor or to customer.
  • Assure timely delivery of products to the customer or outside vendor.
  • Safely bring in raw material to AMT and store in a safe organized manner per AMT standards.
  • Correctly setup and cut material in assigned equipment in a timely manner and deliver as needed to the manufacturing operations.
  • Utilize a forklift to move material and load/unload vehicles.
  • Seek opportunities for continuous improvement and maintain workstation to 5S standards.
  • Perform all work according to Advanced Machining and Tooling safety standards.
  • Comply with all Advanced Machining and Tooling policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years deburring experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Willingness to assist with a variety of tasks in a manufacturing setting.

Nice to Have:

  • Aerospace Deburring Experience.
  • Shipping/Receiving Experience.
  • Blueprint reading skills.
  • Experience operating forklift.
