Job description

Marlboro Manufacturing, a leader in continuous hinge manufacturing is seeking a skilled Shipping Manager to lead our logistics operations and warehouse operations to ensure every shipment moves smoothly from origin to destination. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of freight and delivery processes, and the ability to manage timelines and team performance.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee daily shipping operations and coordinate with carriers and department managers to ensure on time deliveries
  • Monitor shipment status and resolve delays or issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate records and compliance with shipping regulations
  • Train and mentor team members to improve performance
  • Monitor inventory in the warehouse
  • Have the ability to accurately communicate with multiple departments internally


Requirements:


  • 3+ years' experience in shipping, freight, or logistics management
  • Proficiency in shipping software and tracking systems
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
  • Work a 5-day week schedule Monday thru Friday (1st shift only)
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must pass drug and alcohol screening
