Job description

Join a stable and growing manufacturing company with over 40 years of success supplying industrial fasteners and threaded products to customers throughout the region. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Assistant to support daily warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pack and ship customer orders to meet delivery schedules
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks
  • Receive and inspect incoming materials and verify packing slips
  • Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts
  • Keep warehouse and work areas clean, organized, and safe
  • Follow all company safety, environmental, and operational procedures

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Basic math and measuring skills
