Position Description:

The Seasonal Shipping Warehouse Associate will support Clif Family’s Operations team for approximately 40 hours per week from October through December. This temporary role reports to the Shipping & Logistics Manager and is based at our warehouse facility in Napa, California.

The Associate will be responsible for assisting with shipping, order fulfillment, and special operational projects during the holiday season. This position requires a high degree of flexibility, as priorities and tasks may shift frequently in response to daily operational needs.

This role requires an individual to work productively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and collaborative attitude. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Pick/pack pre-built in-stock gift boxes and corporate gift orders. 
  • Assist shipping and receiving with loading and unloading trucks.
  • Maintain inventory controls and accountability of all food, wine, and merchandise. 
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, racks, and workstations neat, clean and organized. 
  • Assist with special projects as needed (labeling, kitting, organization).
  • Various tasks as assigned by Shipping & Logistics Manager.

Skills Required

  • Warehouse and/or shipping experience is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills and acute attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions depending on season, our warehouse is temperature controlled at 65 degrees.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Self-starter with an ability to anticipate and proactively accomplish tasks.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills to contribute to a respectful and team-oriented workplace, bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach to daily responsibilities.
