The warehouse manager is responsible to ensure systems and programs are sufficient to meet company Inventory \ Client needs. The ability to process materials, as well as organize, maintain, package and ship products is essential to this job, as well as providing leadership and assuming responsibility for the workflow in Inventory, Shipping, and Receiving.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:Not limited to the following:ย 

  • Direct the scheduling of resources to ensure proper materials flow, systems management, receiving and logistics processing.
  • Ensure that all incoming shipments are accurately and promptly processedย 
  • Supervise and train receiving staffย 
  • Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environmentย 
  • Monitor and control operational costsย 
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and accurate operationsย 
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize processย 
  • Ensure compliance with established procedures and maintain effective inventory control over the physical product flow and accounting of inventory, receiving, and shipping of product.
  • Coordinate communications with customers, employees and the management team.
  • Responsible for Inventory storage and warehousing.
  • Ensures compliance to meet the quality standards of handling, storing, and delivery of product.
  • Maintain work environment with respect to safety, efficiency, and cleanliness.
  • Maintain departmental working relationships to achieve total performance requirements. Effective communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills will all be used.
  • Completes assignments, projects, and other related duties as required by management.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

  • 2+ years supervisory experience with distribution experience highly preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate (both verbal and written) at all levels within the organization.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Must be familiar or certified in Forklift operations.
  • Knowledge of warehouse procedures and equipmentย 
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasksย 
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsย 
  • Have a good understanding of Inventory management system and shipping logistics systems.
  • Must be able to communicate (both verbal and written) at all levels within the organization.
  • Substantial amount of walking, standing and bending.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds
