Pay Range: $25-$35/hour (Depending on Experience)

The Counter Sales / Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting both customer-facing sales operations and warehouse distribution activities. This position ensures high-quality customer service at the parts counter while maintaining efficient shipping, receiving, and inventory processes. The role requires a detail-oriented, customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment and contributes to operational excellence.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Customer Service & Counter Sales Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers at the Will Call counter in a professional and friendly manner
    • Answer incoming phone calls and provide product, pricing, and service information
    • Process sales transactions and invoices accurately
    • Respond to customer inquiries regarding parts availability, pricing, and order status
    • Coordinate rental orders, including documentation and parts tracking
    • Maintain a high level of customer service and build strong customer relationships

Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:

  • Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
    • Verify incoming products against packing lists and inspect for accuracy
    • Store products in appropriate warehouse locations
    • Pick and prepare orders using system-generated tickets
    • Determine proper packaging methods to ensure safe delivery
    • Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to coordinate shipments
    • Maintain inventory accuracy using ERP systems (Epicor-Prelude)
    • Conduct cycle counts and investigate discrepancies
    • Prepare orders for shipment or customer pickup

General Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts room and warehouse
    • Collaborate with warehouse, service, and operations teams to ensure smooth workflow
    • Communicate shipping details with customers, vendors, and team members
    • Identify delays and implement solutions to ensure timely delivery
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency
    • Assist with warehouse projects such as inventory counts and expansions
    • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED required
    • 1+ years of customer service, warehouse, or distribution experience preferred
    • Familiarity with industrial parts, equipment, or oil & gas industry a plus
    • Forklift experience or ability to be trained and certified
    • Basic computer skills (data entry, email, ERP systems)
    • Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems preferred
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
