Your role in delivering results:


Reporting to the External Warehousing Operations Manager, the Logistics Technician plays a key role in managing receipts, shipments, and order dispatches to external warehouses through various systems.

Working closely with the inventory management and transportation teams, this individual ensures transaction accuracy, lot allocation, and follow-up on uncollected orders. They are also responsible for managing the warehouse management system (WMS) for the dairy distribution center, including receiving, replenishment, and shipping activities, as well as welcoming drivers and collaborating with multiple internal Agropur teams.


Key responsibilities:

  • Execute and monitor receiving and shipping transactions for internal and external warehouses.
  • Monitor overdue transactions.
  • Send orders to external warehouses.
  • Manage lot allocations for internal orders.
  • Follow up on uncollected orders with the transportation and customer service teams.
  • Manage the courier shipment system for assigned sites.
  • Prioritize orders within the warehouse management system and coordinate replenishment activities.
  • Manage the access control system and driver reception.

What we're looking for to achieve these results:


  • DEC or Bachelor's degree in Administration, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with inventory management systems, particularly SAP and Oracle, is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English. (English is required to work with colleagues and customers in other Canadian provinces.)
