Hyve Solutions We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Warehouse Supervisor. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse and forklift operations, including employee training, certification, recertification and maintenance programs as well is the day to day workflow of the warehouse operation. The Warehouse Supervisor will also collaborate closely with Human Resources for documentation and record-keeping, and work with procurement teams to manage vendor relationships and resolve invoices. This position is critical in supporting the overall productivity and safety of our warehouse and distribution operations.
Core Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operation Supervision
  • Administer and oversee daily warehouse operations, including the ICBTO, Work Order Staging, inbound and outbound operations
  • Supervise, mentor, and train warehouse staff, ensuring high productivity and adherence to safety standards.
  • Develop schedules and manage manpower requirements to meet operational goals.
  • Monitor warehouse operations to ensure operation efficiency in space utilization and protection of equipment.
  • Implement and enforce occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines across all warehouse activities.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to manage and address Sales Order, Purchase orders, and work order issues to resolve issues.

Forklift Training and Safety
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive forklift training and certification program for all warehouse personnel, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company standards.
  • Operate Forklifts, and Conduct hands-on training, assessments, and recertifications, maintaining detailed records of certifications and expiration dates.
  • Collaborate with HR to document and maintain training and certification records, ensuring full compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of forklift operations and equipment.
  • Investigate, document and report incidents or near-misses involving forklifts and provide additional training as necessary.

Equipment Maintenance and Operations:
  • Establish and manage a preventative maintenance program for forklifts, ensuring timely inspections, repairs, and minimal downtime.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams and external vendors for repairs and parts replacement.
  • Oversee inventory management for forklift parts and supplies, working with procurement teams to source quality parts and services.

Safety & Compliance:
  • Enforce all safety guidelines and regulations related to forklift operations. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of forklifts and related equipment.
  • Stay informed of industry best practices and regulatory changes related to forklift safety and maintenance.

Inventory & Parts Management:
  • Oversee inventory of forklift parts and supplies, ensuring that necessary components are available for timely repairs and maintenance.
  • Work with procurement teams to source quality parts and negotiate with suppliers to manage costs.

Procurement & Vendor Relations:
  • Collaborate with procurement to obtain purchase orders for necessary parts and services related to forklift maintenance.
  • Ensure timely resolution of vendor invoices, coordinating with procurement and finance teams to address any discrepancies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable service and cost-effective purchasing.

Continuous Improvement:
  • Analyze forklift usage and maintenance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance the safety, efficiency, and longevity of both warehouse forklift operations.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in forklift safety, training, and certification roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle is a plus.
  • Strong Organizational, leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead and manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Deep understanding of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,00-80,000 annually.
