Job description

WeSource/WePack is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for Second shift.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

In the event of absence, these duties and responsibilities will defer to the warehouse supervisor as appropriate.

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipment schedules with customers, carriers, and warehouse operations teams.
  • Schedules carrier appointments for shipping and receiving.
  • Verify inbound and outbound paperwork including bills of lading, seal information, packing slips, and shipping documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Enter shipping, receiving, proper inventory, and load information into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) accurately and timely.
  • Prepares and signs paperwork ensuring paperwork, load and carrier information agree with customer instructions and food safety and quality requirements.
  • Review forklift operator and warehouse transaction entries for accuracy within the WMS.
  • Maintains and updates customer portals, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and internal data systems to ensure accurate inventory, shipment, receiving, and order information is entered and communicated in a timely manner.
  • Communicates status of inbound and outbound loads to customers as directed.
  • Direct and assist carrier drivers with dock assignments and facility procedures.
  • Professionally and promptly greet any clients, drivers or visitors that arrive at the office.
  • Support warehouse operations by coordinating with supervisors, forklift operators, and production personnel.
  • Report any incidents affecting product quality, inventory accuracy, or safety to warehouse leadership immediately.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Working Hours:
Monday- Friday 4pm-12:30am
