Wood Designs is seeking a dependable, hardworking LTL Order Puller / Shipping Associate to join our shipping team.

This is a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse position primarily responsible for pulling, scanning, organizing, and staging furniture orders for LTL shipment. This position requires frequent heavy lifting, constant movement, accuracy, and the ability to work quickly to meet daily shipping deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Pull and stage furniture and products for LTL orders using pick tickets and handheld barcode scanners.
  • Verify item numbers and quantities to ensure orders are pulled accurately.
  • Build, organize, wrap, and secure pallets for LTL shipment.
  • Move and stage large, heavy, and oversized furniture throughout the warehouse.
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed. Training and certification provided.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through barcode scanning.
  • Keep pulling and staging areas clean, organized, and ready for daily shipments.
  • Assist with receiving, returns, inventory organization, and other warehouse duties as needed.
  • Work closely with the shipping team to meet daily order volume and shipping deadlines.
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Previous warehouse, shipping, order pulling, or LTL experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, pull, and maneuver heavy and bulky furniture and cartons.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical work throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow pick tickets and instructions.
  • Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are required.
