Job description

Summary of Function:
Drive/operate the Forklift in a safe manner. Organize and efficiently support shipping department to ship all customer related product in a timely/accurate/safe manner.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Load and unload trucks
• Move production parts into shipping racks as containers are finalized
• Use RF scanner to locate containers in shipping for inventory accuracy
• Housekeeping in and around shipping area
• Organize and maintain shipping area per supervisors direction
• Performs others duties as assigned by Supervisor, including any other system duties
• Forklift checklist, keep Forklift clean
• Ensure all battery operated fork lifts are charged and ready for next shift
• Ensure that all floors are swept and trash is disposed of daily
• Label specific containers for shipments
• Use ERP system (Plex) to print and load containers for shipments
• Learn/train in the system to be able to transact shipments in ERP system, as assigned by the Supervisor

Educational Requirements:
• High School Diploma
Experience Requirements:
• Forklift Operator’s license
