THE ROLE: The RV Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for efficiently managing the shipping, receiving, and inventory of parts and supplies to ensure the smooth operation of the dealership. This role involves verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing stock, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Match received items to purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Record discrepancies and coordinate with vendors or management to resolve issues.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
  • Arrange shipping schedules and select the most efficient carriers.
  • Ensure timely delivery of parts and supplies to customers or internal departments.
  • Organize and maintain parts storage areas for accessibility and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Assist in reordering parts and supplies as needed.
  • Assist parts and service staff in locating and retrieving items.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with external and internal customers.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols when operating equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory management preferred.
  • Experience in RV, automotive, or related industries is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory and documentation.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs]) frequently.
  • Comfortable standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
