Now Hiring: Shift Manager at Burger King

Position Overview:

The Shift Manager works under the direction of the Restaurant Manager. They work directly with team members and operate shifts in a restaurant. As a Shift Manager, there are multiple levels of responsibility and development. Progression through these levels is based on demonstrated skills, experience, and operational knowledge.


Profitability

  • Follows all cash control and security procedures (e.g., safe counts and cash drawer management)
  • Maintains inventory by performing daily and weekly inventory inspections
  • Receives and verifies inventory truck orders

Guest

  • Motivates and directs Team Members to exceed guest expectations by providing accurate, fast, and friendly service in a clean environment

People

  • Provides coaching and feedback to Team Members to strengthen team capabilities and improve restaurant performance

Operations

  • Sets a positive example for Team Members by executing shift plans and driving operational results
  • Directs the efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products to ensure prompt delivery within established speed-of-service guidelines
  • Motivates Team Members throughout the shift across all workstations
  • Reviews restaurant results to identify successes and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensures the restaurant consistently upholds operational and brand standards
